In a shabby seaside boarding house, Stanley lives a quiet existence until two mysterious strangers arrive without warning. What begins as a seemingly ordinary birthday celebration soon becomes a tense and unsettling game of questions, accusations and psychological manipulation.

By turns absurd, disturbing and utterly compelling, Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party is a darkly comic masterpiece of modern theatre.
