When the brilliant, witty Rosalind is banished by her tyrannical uncle, she disguises herself as a young man named Ganymede and flees into the wilderness with her loyal cousin Celia. There, she encounters Orlando, the love-struck nobleman who has been covering the forest trees with bad love poetry in her honour. Maintaining her male disguise, Rosalind decides to test Orlando's devotion by offering to "cure" him of his lovesickness. Filled with mistaken identities, sharp wit and a gallery of eccentric characters, As You Like It is a joyful exploration of love, gender roles and the transformative power of nature.
